Early Onset Type 2 Diabetes (EOD)

EOD, at least in the early years, does not need insulin. Diabetes develops early ( 35 kg/m²). They are often hypertensive and have dyslipidaemia which, combined with their long disease duration because of the early onset, puts them at high risk of micro- and macro-vascular complications.
